Here are a few reminders and comments on our Reflection Homework in Geometry.
Do not do the following: Front side #10, 11, 17-24. Back side #3 and 6.
Try your best to find the reflections for #4-7 without graphing the points.
Here is an explanation of #4:
Numbers 8-13 (except 10 and 11):
If you have to, fold the paper where you need to, or draw them on a larger piece of paper and fold where you need to.

Mrs.Knickerbocker, I dont understand what I have to do for 8-13 on the front side. The diagram looks confusing and what it’s asking for. I know would need to fold the paper but for what? Thank you

Celeste, with these problems, take a look at line #1. These questions are asking for the result of certain reflections. So, if it asks for the reflection over the x-axis, you are going to look at line #1 and decide which other line (line #2, line #3, …..) is that reflection. Then, you are going to look at the next problem. If it asks for the reflection over the y-axis, you are going to look at line #1 and decide which other line (line #2, line #3,….) is that reflection.
